Mikaela Bernhardt of Mikaela Karthik Design is a graphic artist, surface pattern designer, and muralist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her goal is to bring a calm sense of playfulness into people’s lives through her creative practice.

Her style evokes a delicate sense of calm with a bold sense of playfulness. Other words people have used to describe her recognizable art style are earthy, intricate, organic, elegant, and unique. She draws inspiration from mindful moments, botanicals, global travel / culture, her husband’s Southern Indian heritage, abstract expression, and her background in landscape architecture.

Mikaela is available for custom hand painted mural work for homes, businesses, and office spaces. She is also available for art licensing, brand collaborations, custom seamless pattern designs, and has unique products available for wholesale.
